Oxidative potential as a metric to group nanomaterials and predict human health effects

Edited by December 12, 2017

A European consortium nanOxiMet was funded by ERA-NET SIIN call to evaluate the possibility of using the oxidant generating capacity as a metric to allow grouping of nanomaterials and prediction of human health effects.

A review on the analytical methods to assess the oxidative potential of nanoparticles was published in Environmental Science: Nano  doi: 10.1039/c7en00346c.
